Refund Policy
Last updated 28 September 2026
Short version: all sales are final. Digital downloads cannot be returned, and service time cannot be un-reserved. If something is genuinely wrong, it gets put right — email theintentionaltea@gmail.com before doing anything else.
Digital products
All sales are final once the file has been delivered. A download cannot be given back, which is why this is the standard across digital shops.
Every listing says what is included, how many pages, what format, and what you need to open it. Please read that before buying, and ask first if anything is unclear.
When a refund will be given
There are two narrow exceptions, and they are the only ones:
- The file is corrupted, will not open, or is materially different from what the listing described. A working file is sent first; money comes back only if it genuinely cannot be fixed.
- You were charged twice for the same item. A duplicate charge is a billing error, not a refund, and it is always corrected.
Get in touch within 30 days of purchase and describe what went wrong. A fix comes first, and a working file usually solves it.
When it will not
- You changed your mind, before or after downloading.
- You did not read what was included.
- You do not have the software to open it. Every listing states the format.
- You did not get the results you hoped for. These are tools, not outcomes.
Bought through Etsy
Purchases made on Etsy follow Etsy's own process, because they handle the payment. Start there, but do email as well and it will be sorted either way.
Services, calls and deposits
All service payments are final. No refunds are given. This covers paid calls, deposits, milestone payments and balances.
Booking takes a place out of the schedule that nobody else can use, and work on your project starts before you next hear from me. That time cannot be recovered, which is why it is paid for whether or not the work continues.
- Paid calls are charged at booking and are non-refundable. Reschedule instead, using the link in your confirmation, as far ahead as you can.
- Deposits hold your start date and are non-refundable from the moment they are paid.
- Milestone and balance payments are non-refundable once that stage of the work has been delivered to you.
- If you cancel part way, everything already paid stays paid and nothing further is owed. Files and credentials for completed work are still handed over.
- If I cancel or cannot deliver what was agreed, you are refunded for the stages not delivered. That runs one way only.
Missing a call without notice, or going unreachable for more than 14 days mid-project, counts as a cancellation by you.
Disputes and chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, email me first — theintentionaltea@gmail.com. Most things are fixable and I would rather fix them.
Raising a chargeback instead of getting in touch is treated as a dispute of the terms you agreed to at checkout, and it will be contested with the booking record, the agreement and the delivered work. Accounts with an open or lost chargeback are not taken on again.
How long it takes
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
